QuarkXpress

QuarkXpress (or just Quark for short) is a page layout application that runs on both the Mac and Windows. It was first published in 1987 by Quark Inc. who still maintains the program.

While Quark is a common tool in layout design for print, it is less popular as a logo design tool.
